Building that bond

Hello again,

This time we figured we would talk about the bonding experience between your animal and their groomer.
Bonding with any animal is a slow and gentle process. Over time any experience had while grooming will affect that bond. if negative things(ie hard handed grooming, cold water shock,rough handling or even a groomer that is in a bad mood) are allowed to become common place during a groom then the pet will associate all these negatives with the grooming experience not just that groomer.

At the happy camper mobile grooming we believe the grooming experience should be reinforced with positive experiences such as a gentle voice, soft grooming, one on one attention, even a treat during the grooming experience if the owner allows. Plus we never come to work in a bad mood :)

All of these positives equal a happy pet,owner and overall experience during the grooming process. Over time any pet will come to enjoy and relax during a visit from the happy camper.
